Hmmm, looks like a Backswimmer (the only reason I know this is my brother had some of them in his pool when he lived in DFW area).

I was able to get some photos. They are everywhere! These were taken on tomato, dahlia and cucumber leaves. They donÂt seem to stick on well but donÂt all come off with water either. Thanks for your help, hope someone can solve the mystery : )

I can almost always tell your posts before I know they're yours. In this case, I couldn't have guessed. Well, it is one of the net wing beetles, and they do eat plant juices. I don't think of them as pests though, unless maybe you have a lot of them. Let me look up what species this is.
