I'm not that fluent with Chanteclers, but isn't the white a color variation from the regular Partridge? (multi shades of brown) If all you have a white birds and you're sure of your source, then it just sounds like a few off colored feathers. If it turns out to be a Cockerel, I wouldn't keep him for breeding.

Here's an article about vultures that mentions that sort of thing. It only talks about black vultures being that aggressive. Thank God I've only got turkey vultures around here where I live. As far as I know, they haven't shown any interest in my pets. And as far as I can remember, I haven't ever had one land in the trees in or next to the fenced-in yard. They seem to avoid close contact with people, unless there's a dead animal for them to eat. Here is a link that might be useful: vultures

If you ever read the name MARTIN S LOWNEY, then you are reading lies. Google him. He works for the US department of agriculture's inspection service. He is a government pawn. This is what happens when big government is in control. It's scary. This entire site IVILLAGE is full of people (Rhizo 1?) working to spread false information. They are called "SCHILLS". When someone knows a little TOO much information, be wary. THEY PROBABLY ARE PAID BY YOUR TAX DOLLARS TO SPREAD LIES. These birds are harmless and CARRION EATERS- meaning carcass eaters. They keep down disease, not spread it. They are probably just smelling the afterbirth on the calf. MR LOWNEY spreads these mythical situations across the web. It's repeated and passed down as fact. It's not. It's more big government lies ruining our country. You need to watch out for this government- not the vultures.

I live in central Alabama, and we have both black and turkey vultures everywhere. I got a ton of great shots of both as they fly over the house very low and/or perch in the trees off the bluff. Our back yard terminates into the bluff. They're awesome, and gorgeous. One easy way to determine if it's a black or turkey vulture is the color, of course, but note that the wings of a turkey vulture has white across the entire wingspan, and the black vultures have the white feathers at the tips. Turkey vultures' brown feathers are similar to the color of a bald eagle's, and they tend to wobble when they soar. The pic below is of one who perched above our house, then flew to a tree on the bluff outside our back yard.
