Hi, Raven! I remembered too. I think I remembered every month all of last year. It wasn't one of my best years. I'd wanted '23 to be better and it's not beginning that way when I'd rabbited on New Years Day morning! Nothing with us but our immediate circle is experiencing losses, spouses who have been ill, parents. 2 services down and a big one this Sunday. The rabbit doesn't seem to be working (or at least working very hard) for me, I'd hate to lose faith in that bunny ;)

I'm sorry you had a bad night, Jas. I was up for a few minutes at 3 AM, that middle of the night nature call that seems to take place any more and I'd made myself a note after reading your reminder. Said my rabbit, rabbit. Then up again at 6, DH has an appt this morning so I didn't have the luxury of sleeping later. Sue, May has been a tough month for you. it left you with a parting shot. Hopefully, June will be better. Rob, so hard when the house goes quiet after the kids leave. June 1 almost caught me by surprise. Yes, May zoomed by. Overall, May was uneventful except for the last few days. .My grandson is on board with the rabbit superstition. He sent me this morning: "Rabbit, rabbit rabbit. triple rabbit". He added that he feels like he needs a bit of extra luck this month. He sure does. He is an HVAC tech. On Thursday, he suffered 2nd degree burns on both hands from chemical that spewed out of a unit he was working on. He spent the night in the burn unit. Lots of pain but handling it without oxy that was prescribed. Yesterday he sounded a bit traumatized but today sounds strong and happy. Thank goodness.
