Dawn, I agree wholeheartedly that this swap was special. I could feel it as I read the posts. There was such a wonderful bond among participants. I love that. Gardeners are the best kind of friends on earth. I'm going to be reminded of our wonderful hostess and all of you special garden buddies when I plant these seeds and delight over the blooms or fruit they produce. My bundle has arrived! (I don't live far from Dawn--maybe 50 miles.) Thanks to all of you for participating! I have received a nice selection of annuals and perennials--and a couple things I've been interested in growing as well as others new to me. I find it is a nice way to relax--looking up information about new seeds--and I'm very much looking forward to it! Thank you for the Christmas card, Dawn, and for organizing and doing all the work to make this exchange possible.

That was fast Marcia! While most of the seeds went out on Tuesday, there were a about 3 or 4 that just went out today. I figure they should all arrive by the beginning of next week. You're welcome about the card. I thought it was a nice Christmas touch to send with the seeds. Some of the packages were big for the envelopes so I had to bend the cards a little. lol. It's hard to believe that Christmas is only a few days away!

I got my seeds last week, just before Christmas. What nice present. Almost all of the seeds are new to me.
I have my containers and soil in the basement ready to go with the winter sowing. I will be busy because I have some winter sewing to do too.

Dawn, thanks for such a terrific swap. I received such a great assortment of seeds. This particular swap was really nice because participants sent seeds of flowers that were very special to them. I know you spent lots of hours repacking the seeds so that we all got lots of packets. Thanks again. I'll be winter sowing some of them very soon. I am so glad you all enjoyed the swap. I too can not wait to see these seeds bloom. That is a great quote, Brenda. I know I'll be planting these seeds and prayin' they bloom for me. Lol--(my first year at "real" WS).

I must say that it would have been better for me to play around with my seeds on New Years Eve also. Then maybe I would have spent New Years day with my head in a bag of potting soil rather than in the toilet!!!! LOL--just joking but I did have to recover from the festivities for days!!!!!!
