I'm getting chill bumps just reading about the cold weather. After living in northern Virginia for 5 years, it came to me in a dream. The Washingtom monument leaned all the way and quietly said to me (dreams can be that way, can't they), "Don't you like brugs, son?" Unfortunately, he spoke in my right ear, where I can't hear, so I said, "WHAT's a boog." He said, "Not a boog, dumbass, a brug." When I asked what a brug is, he gently explained and sent me DIRECTLY to the brug forum, where I became amazed as my eyes glazed ovee. Overcome with Brug lust and knowing not what to do, I was puzzled for days, when, in another dream, the Washington monument came to me again in a dream. "Brug lust is good for you, Jim, he said, the joy of them will help you live longer if you will move to the deep south, where you can enjoy them much longer." Well, not having the Washington monument speak to me before, I thought that it's voice was perhaps an omen. I moved to southern Mississippi and ordered Brugs. And sure enough I have lived longer, as have all of you brug raisers. Naturally I would be embarrassed to tell the local inhabitants that the Washington monument sent me here during a dream, so I tell them that I moved here because of so much family nearby, and that seems to satisfy them. But for you, my dear friends in addiction, I felt psychologically safe enough that I could be much more open with you. While few people get treatment for their addiction, I am not one of those. So after living in McComb for two years last week, I called AA to see where the closest BA was (Brugs Anonymous), so that I could help for my brug addiction. The person answering the phone pretended that she had never heard of a brug addict, but said AA people are the best for understanding addictions and suggested that I come and try out a meeting. So Friday evening, I attended my first addict meeting. When it came my turn, I said, "My name is Jim, and I'm a brug addict." The words were no sooner out of my mouth, when everyone said, all at once, "You're a WHAT???" So this afternoon the whole 186 people are coming over to look at my brugs, to understand what a brug addict is, and I have cuttings for all. Little do they know...heh heh, we'll have more friends on this forum by spring. Jim
