I live in SE Mich and I have yet to see a Tufted Titmouse at my feeder this fall/winter. Are they in the area and if so what type of food attracts them?----thanks---ED
Suet, berries, sunflowers - black oil, Malindas bluebird mix. And yes they are still in Michigan year round. At least here at my house by the woodlands!
Regulars to my peanut butter/corn meal / dried fruit mix: bluejays, woodpeckers, titmice, nuthatches, chickadees and occasionally when I hang a deer ribcage after processing for my meat I get the pileateds in.
