Cold frame converted to Winter roosting shelter

On another message thread (Downy likes Wren Nestbox), the topic shifted to adapting a cold frame to make it a roosting shelter for the winter. Here is a close-up picture of the modified cold frame with the top opened. I removed the seedling trays, added a bed of leaves, small pots on their sides, and branches for roosting. The vent holes in the back were modified as entry holes.

The next photo shows how the cold frame / roosting shelter was also placed on saw-horses to make the birds safe from predators. Through the window, you can see the two hole reducers on the vent holes.
