Landscape contractor for Austin

I'm in need of someone to take out some old beds, remove some existing grass, enlarge the beds, border them with stone, and lay some drip irrigation. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone to do this in Austin?

I've seen work done by Hill Country Rain Makers.
Otherwise, do a google search for landscaping services in Austin, TX.

It depends on how you want to do it. If you want a crew, there are a lot of them, and I'm not particularly impressed with them. However, I am biased because I would recommend myself, and because I don't work with a crew and do all the work myself. I've noticed that a lot of landscaping companies aren't really concerned with the actual life of the plants themselves or in doing what is best for the conditions. Also, the crews tend to be not careful at all and tramp all over seedlings and such. Just my two cents.

Wow, this is great news! Has anyone taken these classes? It looks like they offer professional certification, although these classes are also for garden/landscape hobbiests. They may also offer online classes too. Not sure. Very exciting! While people may notice this, I don't think it'll be judged as an atrocity. If it bothers you enough, fix, but it's not going to require adding soil. Just scoot some soil over to support the sod at the level you want and fill the other area with mulch. Black mulch will accentuate the issue as it looks stark and artificial. Would be better to use a more moderate color. Pictures from this angle don't well show the space between the trees. The hydrangeas are going to destroy the foliage of the arborvitaes where they bump up against and shade them. This is OK but you'll see it during the winter.

Hi--Pam Penick definitely knows what she's doing. I also recommend yardfarm austin--I work for them as a garden designer and some time crew boss. We are currently building a 7-acre organic farm out by lake travis, but we do much smaller jobs, and plenty of no-nonsense ones, and I think we're affordable.
