Well, acorn squash it is then! Thanks all. I have two more of the same plant besides that one. I like acorn squash, so I guess it is cool to learn how to grow them but I'm kinda disappointed I won't be up to my ears in yellow squash like I thought I would be. :-/ You only harvest them once in September, right? I just leave them on the vine as is until then?

Well wait a minute Jeff, I'm no one to be telling YOU anything about Jades, come on now Dude, that's what it looked to me but you would CERTAINLY know better than. Maybe some compacta type as is being discussed of late? Very Nice Nikki, I looked to see where you are since you're quoting metric. The pics are so sharp & close, the size is deceptive. I see from the measures you gave these are quite small pots so they should be fine. Nice find.

Just had one on our lantana, I have never seen this before. We thought it was a really small hummingbird. Tried to get a picture of it but it was faster than we were. It was very dark, black with a strip of yellow on it's tail. After checking the web, I do believe it is a moth. We live in Lehigh Acres, outside of Fort Myers. It was no more than 1" long. Will have to see if it comes back.

I can also confirm Royal Poinciana. This is my all-time favorite tree! Ours are just coming into bloom now. They can actually get pretty big if left unpruned, but the blooming is much denser and more spectacular if pruned like the one in the picture.
