Reggie, I did NOT take a photo of the tag for that dish garden. Drat! That was at the point where I'm on overload, my eyes were starting to glaze over & I quit taking pix of tags. Sorry! It looked somewhat similar to what Matt did at the Sherman Grdns, but not so detailed.

I can also confirm Royal Poinciana. This is my all-time favorite tree! Ours are just coming into bloom now. They can actually get pretty big if left unpruned, but the blooming is much denser and more spectacular if pruned like the one in the picture.

Thank you all very much. It is decided then, the feeder stays! I looked up pictures of both the downey and hairy and agree it looks like a hairy woodpecker more. Getting a decent photo of a bird for identification is considerably more difficult than trees. Even my wife's 10mp point and click leaves a little to be desired. One of my neighbor's Bradford Pears has been attacked by some woodpecker. It is the only tree in either of our yards I have seen with damage and being a tree forum regular I have grown to dislike Bradfords anyway lol.

Looks like a Mocker to me! I had 3 of them in my yard for the GBBC, and they are squabbling horribly. Suppose it's 2 males and 1 female, and you know how that goes. Somebody's gott go! :o)
