Back again with some more pictures of our backyard friends to share.

I think these pictures are more appealing also. (I can feel the softness of the petals) I notice it's a Canon SX50 HS and if I recall your old one was Canon SX100 IS ?? Are they part of the same series? I am unhappy with the image stabilization Sony pocket one I have. It seems the photos have no "heart". Which I do see in your photos above. I wonder (with mine) if the image stabilization is to blame for a less than appealing image. Wish my old Olympus hadn't died :-(

Don, nice! If this one gets any bigger, she's going to bust out of the barrel. If that happens, I'll be hacking through tree roots for a big enough hole to put her in the ground. I just hope it doesn't happen till next year, lol! Thank you, everyone. You're so kind with your comments. It's both encouraging and enabling - I'm looking for places to add a couple more.

You've done a really nice job. Your Halcyon is nicely contrasted against the Creeping Jenny. Your Fortunei Aureomarginata is doing great. Mine, I know, is full of tree roots because I've had it a long time and it is not anything near its mature size. It's on the to-do list! Golden Meadows is a delight!

Thanks everybody,

It's been raining for several days here in the midwest, so fewer new shots this week than usual. But our Yellow-Rumped Warblers are back, and we're seeing a few other seasonal sparrows returning now. The Juncos should be along soon, and we think we saw our first Ruby-crowned Kinglet yesterday!

We add new pictures nearly everyday tho, so you can always find our latest photos in the gallery.
We love to share our birds. :)
