Picked my 3,000th.......

Pound of tomatoes today, then I added another 177 to it. The running total number of pounds picked out of my high tunnel is 3,177. I ran out of light and was unable to pick 1.5 rows, so that total is bound to go up. I still have another month and half until our usual first frost. I think I am going to make a run for 4,000 pounds, 2 tons, that is CRAZY. Is a high tunnel worth it, you bet it is. Just an FYI, I have probably pitched 50-75 pounds this whole year. I either sold, ate or processed every single one. Also, I have 102 plants in this building.

Another question, Nobody told my determinate tomatoes, they were determinate. They never stopped producing all year. I have two rows of indeterminate in the middle and two rows of determinate on the outsides.

This is an older picture looking in my building.
