If you were at the Ft. Worth swap, do you recognize these?

Sylvia, I think this was in the box of stuff I got from you. Don't know if you put it in there intentionally, or if it was something you meant to take home. Smells minty. Could it be lemon mint?

And I actually remember getting this from someone. Is it moonflower?

Top one looks like vitex, especially if it smells minty/sagey.

Bottom one I don't recognize, but the leaves look like it might be in the daisy/coneflower family.

Marti, my Shasta daisies look wilted too, but they're getting ready to die back for the winter anyway; just dig up the pitiful-looking plant, & the new owner will plant it, & the roots will send up a new crown in the spring. I have a few daisies that have given up the ghost, & the new crowns have emerged already! Remy, if you have enough of the lotion and/or shampoo if that's what it is (bad monitor, bad bad monitor!), I'd like to trade...something? anything? I did pot up another rose for you, looks like another, or maybe the same, China rose, but it's a freebie; it's a leetle feller & its leaves are yellow, don't know if something's wrong with it or if it's just going dormant early. I did find some red yucca seeds from this year & some bur oak acorns from 2012; I had hoped to grow a bur oak, but I can't keep the squirrels out of them!

Gretchen, this is the FW Swap thread, LOL! I am glad you all found a church; I think you'll love it! Also, I told someone about the Denton swap, just can't remember her name right now; she lives closer to you "northerners"! Well, my "photogenic" personality remains consistent: the photographer always catches me with my eyes closed & my mouth open! Isn't that an adorable picture of Sheridan (Sherry) & Jordan!!! Like Nan, I have a lot of work to do! I got everything out of the car & drenched the plants that need/can tolerate it (ie, not the sanservia or the cactus...is it pencil or devil's backbone?), got all those blue bottles into the garage to keep them dry, planted the apple mint, daffs, & put the red amaryllis in a pot. Whew! It was a great get together, & thanks to Pam we had a secure place to meet; the park was jam-cram packed on this Easter week-end! Thanks to all of you for making it a success, & I'm looking forward to doing it again in the autumn!

Top one isn't a vitex. I think it is either for you or from you Sylvia. I don't know how else it would have gotten into that box.

It looks "twiggy" to me, like an ornamental tree or similar, but I can't remember it.

You might try the plant identification forum here, think it's called Name That Plant.

edited to add:

somehow missed this the first time I read it "either from you or for you".

Since I'm pretty sure I didn't bring it, it must be for me!
If you don't want it, let me know, & I'll pick it up when I take you the coral honeysuckle!

I've never seen a salvia with those leaves before. I bet it's pretty when it's blooming.

Sylvia, did you give away all of the cannas?

I potted up the iris I got from the Waxahachie swap and they're happy and warm in the garage until I have the bed ready for them to go in the ground. I repotted that fig, too, and I'm glad I did because the one remaining outdoor fig is looking very dead this morning. I got all of my daylillies in the ground, but forgot to water them before this freeze, so I expect that I may have just killed them all.

Daylilies die back in the cold weather anyway, but those tuberous roots will survive & grow next spring, just like cannas.

& the "freeze" wasn't hard enough to damage the plants anyway, so water them now & they'll be fine.

I did give away all the cannas that I brought to the swap...
but I could be talked into (please talk me into) digging up a few more!

I have tall ones & a few dwarf ones.

The top one is a Thai basil.
I can't remember her name, but the Asian girl and her husband gave me a few of them too.
