Check the tomato forum. There was a discussion over there and someone listed how to get rid of the ads. I can't remember the exact post but I'll try to find it. It worked for me!! Found it- Try this: I don't know if there's some additional mozilla thing that will get rid of the ads you're still getting, but this will block them: (copied from another thread here) "The Universal Solution: (if you have a PC) This will work on Windows systems for all browsers; IE, FireFox and Netscape. The Windows operating system provides a system-level method to block specific IP addresses before they even get to the browser. To effect this solution you need to edit a Windows system file called "HOSTS". This file is located in the directory: Windows XP: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC Windows 2K: C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC Windows 98: C:\WINDOWS Open the file in Notepad. Unfortunately, iVillage may in the future buy ads from a new source. In this event the new ad source will have to be added to the list. " o

Nevermind. I think I have it -will start new thread.

Always use the search box on the bottom of the page rather than the top! One further note: Threads drop off the Forum list about 6-8 weeks after the last post. So, if you have a thread that no one's posted to in the past couple of months, it will most likely have rolled off the Forum list and no longer be found when you do a search. Sometimes, a Google search will find an old thread, but there's no guarantee and, in my experience, you usually don't find them. However, IF you bookmarked the thread and it had at least one post after November/December 2007, you will probably be able to bring it up via the bookmark. [Posting to a thread after it's dropped of will not get it back on the list, but the later post(s) will show up if anyone links to the thread directly.] BTW...the 6-8 weeks is an estimate. It depends on how active the Forum is. In the case of Kitchens, we have 67 pages to the thread list...but if you look at that page you'll notice that the "oldest" post date/time right now (as I type) is Fri, Dec 5, 08 at 16:03

I will try to post some here. For a while, I couldn't post any pictures. The season started out great, with extra large flowers because of earlier rain. Scapes in general are somewhat shorter, but not as bad as two years ago when we tied the latest freeze on record. Now, as we are approaching peak, we have this oppressive heat. Mother Nature always has a curve ball in her basket. In terms of individual cultivars, there are always some surprises. I was astonished to see that Musical Medley shot up for some. For years here, always very short scapes, and I finally discarded it last year. The mild winter may have helped some more tender ones, but that was offset by freezes in May.
