Hi its easy. Well you can spray it, the thing is this. You want to avoid getting it on your soil mix AT ALL COSTS, if it goes down with the water the roots may absorb it and that wont be good. I generally use a Q-tip to apply it, or if I spray I cover my pot around the plant stalk with some form of plastic. Ok, for this we use half the recommended dosage (for CP's) Now the directions have two options: Biweekly or Monthly mix: "mix a ratio of 1/2 tablespoon to 1 gallon of water, mist plant or dunk plant. It says for potted plants apply to soil, NOT FOR CP!!!!, no soil mix, thats a BEEEG NONO. Ok so thats the recommended dose, so we need to halve that. So for your CP's biweekly/monthly feeding it will be 1/4 tablespoon per gallon of water. Weekly mix: For weekly mix use above method but only use 1/4 tablespoon per gallon of water. Ok so for our beloved CP's we will halve this and it will be 1/8 Tablespoon per gallon of water. This will be applied every week. (this is what I do) And thats about it, its not too bad, I find that if I mist my Drosera that they loose their dew for a day or two, so Ive just taken to using a Q-tip with the mix on, and rubbing it on the leaf stalks. They seem to enjoy it, the VFT's love it. WARNING!!! Lance leaf sundews are full of cr... Dont use ANY form of foliar feed on them, they are 1 of a very few CP's that it will hurt. You can use it on all your american sundews, your south african sundews, your VFT's, your Nepenthes (dont get in the pitchers), Pitcher plants (once again only on the folige, not in any pitchers) Butterworts LOVE the stuff, I give them a good soaking as well. Hope that helps ya out, its really good stuff. You will get a small tub of it in powder form. The mix we make is such a small amount per gallon that I think we will need to add this to our last will and testiment,lol Cheers Sheldon PS dont worry about applying too much, what you want is to pretty much give your plants folige a complete sponge bath with the stuff. Then leave them until the time (1 or 2 weeks depending on mix) is up. Dont be tempted to overfeed them with this by using it every few days. You can use this instead of feeding your plants, or in combination with this.

Oh wow- sure, i'd love some, both for rooting (whatever size works best for that), and for the birds. Birds' size would probably be best at about 5/8 - 1" diameter. They can hold onto a perch as large as about 1.5", but if i don't give them good grip if the bark is slick, it's harder. Variance is good for their feet. I use the trimmings off my eucalyptus for them. Amazingly, even with the oils in it, it's another bird safe wood and they love stripping the bark and crunching the dried leaves. Only problem is it gets a little smelly once it dries out- goes from that lovely smell to sort of a cat pee smell, so the perch we made stays on the screen porch for them. :) I use my curly mulberry branches the same way- as support for other things. Only problem is the wood is weak once it's dead. So it doesn't last long at all. Good to know about bbush & caryopetris. Good thing they both root easily. I can see that being the case with both of those. I guess i just never considered that way of thinking with a tree. Makes sense for the fast growing ones, though. Though i don't reroot it, i do have to keep cutting back on the curly mulberry and it naturally seems to have large sections that die back on a few yr cycle.

thanks for all your messsages and to answer yes i have told her until i am blue in the face and it never helps at all... i mean it makes matters so very worse but also to answer another question yes i was made to be responsible since 15 i had no choice i had to live with my decisions and mistakes so of course she knows i am more responsible so that does not help matter either it just keeps hurting and hurting....And no i do not feel better actually it heiped a little to say it but to make the hurt go away it has to be rectified to a certain degree and realized hello i had nothing to do with my daughter really ever or my oldest grandchildren because i was jealous. and some of that jealousy rubbed off on me i see sometimes to this day i am my mothers daugter but yes i was made to be responsible no matter what actually when i lived at home i was forced to have the mother role even though i had a older sister so that tells you something there...... popi she does know very well and she is comfortable with it by the way...

I'm so sad for you, Shey. You are NOT a failure; I'm amazed you keep trying in the face of such a lack of support. It is not failing to not be able to achieve the unachievable...would you consider yourself a failure if you tried to fly by jumping off the roof, and didn't fly? You should also show your BF this post, it is so articulate and sums up the disconnect between your attitudes well. But I was thinking of some answers you could give to BF's accusations as well. I've regrouped them a little as some pretty well fall into the same territory. You don't hug the kids enough, you're not affectionate with them. Why don't you treat my kids like I treat yours!?! You were really quiet with them today, what's wrong with you? - Because they don't care to be hugged by me, talk to me or even to spend time with me. This is evidenced by the fact that they never initiate conversation with me, ask me not to be at their events, and ask to be alone with you. I would love to be more affectionate with them but since they don't like it I try not to irritate them by offering unwanted hugs or chit chat. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells in my own home, but I do it because I know you want to stay close to your children. But they're picky eaters you know that, I don't want them to go hungry! -Well, I don't want them to go hungry either. If you have a better idea of what they'd like to eat, why don't you cook while they are here? I'm trying my best to make meals they will like, but clearly it's not working. Let's try a different tack. I'm going to have 'family time' with the kids separate as that is what they have asked for... You always wait for me to suggest something, don't you want to see us? Let's spend less time together because they need me. -I would dearly love for us all to spend time together but if your children prefer not to then I am content that they should spend time alone with you, since I don't want to upset them. It's hard to suggest things to do when I know they would prefer I was out of the picture altogether. Well, I can't do anything about what she says or does can i! -No, you can't, but it would be nice if you were more sympathetic to how it makes me feel so that I felt you were on my side. They're struggling with their mother, what am I supposed to do, lose my kids?!? -Of course not, but I feel this issue is driving a wedge between us that is going deeper and deeper. I feel you think I've failed somehow and I don't know what else I could do to encourage your children to like me. What would you suggest? If this situation doesn't improve, I feel it's going to eventually turn into our discussing whether our relationship is worth continuing with. I am very unhappy with things as they are and would dearly love for things to improve but for this to happen we both need to be on the same side and working together toward the same goal.
