Does having that many of one kind of bird in that area have an effect on other birds?

I'll bet the setup isn't too close to the house, these birds are noisy! I'll also bet they don't have many insects in their yard.

Not expecting to watch it all,..this is a video for the winter when we're longing for spring.

As you can see, ...not much of a nest! Looks like old grain stalk
from last year, nearby is cultivated farm field.

How did he get those houses up on those poles? Maybe he has a cherry picker?

They're on a winch system,..you crank it up by hand, down for inspection, see close on the bottom of pole, for winter they're all let down, gourds and some houses get stored indoor.

Boy I sure wish I had them out here. Have had a nesting box up for several years and no luck but did see one this year. Wish they would make a come back here. Great video Konrad Thanks
