Hi Raybo, Love your updates, I think its cool you've found a solid method to container gardening. I might show the husband your pics for inspiration. Do you make your own soil mix, or do you buy? BTW I'm in Sacramento, which is probably quite similar weather-wise to Los Gatos. I had to pull out all my tomatoes this weekend due to the storm, it was the last straw for the plants and while I had lots of ripe fruit through sept/oct it was starting to rot on the vine a bit. But those plants have been in the ground since June! Weird summer we had. I hope next summer is more typical. I love the tradition of big warm tomatoes in July. It was strange to wait 'til fall to pick.

Sorry I haven't been posting but my poor little webtv won't let me on so I have to go offsite to login.Any weekend is good for me.there's plenty of parking at my place-2 acres :O).I've already started potting things but haven't updated my page yet.As for food around here the best is The Ark! Best shrimp & catfish there is.People come from all to eat there & it isn't expensive.There is also a chinese buffet,The Shack barbeque,a mexican place & several others to choose from.Anyone want more info just email me directly as that is easier for me.Hope we have a good turnout this fall.I have lots to get rid of-from tropicals to hardy to water plants! herman--- Not my photo...just one I found on the web. I THINK the leaves are dissected in Randi's first pic...but it's hard to be certain. I think I have an Orangeola...it's either that or a Red Select. It was a gift and the tag has gone walkabout...and the people who gave it to me "can't remember." It's a new tree...and I was out of town for it's "fall show." :^( I'm hoping to get good pics next spring/summer/fall.

Reconsidered bring the Honeysuckle Bush and I'm withdrawing them from my bring list.
