Valley of Fire, Nevada

Great place! Lots of beautiful canyons to hike through.

Children will love to scramble all over the red rock.

Window rocks, nice campsites, and Moapa Reservation (Paiute) tribal place nearby to get all your supplies.

They also sell fireworks that you can launch at their launching pads right there. Even if you don't buy any, just hang out and enjoy the show each and every night by people who purchase them.

Here are some pictures of some of the backcountry of Valley of Fire. Hope you like them. I hiked there last weekend and saw the most beautiful desert country and mendered through canyon after canyon for hours. Beautiful time of the year, too. 67 degrees. ahhh....

Anyone ever been there? If you ever go go VEgas, this is where you might want to camp. just one hour from downtown

Las Vegas northeast in the Reservation land. This provides a "Sanity Check" from Vegas activity. You will be in a world away in just one hour's drive.

Valley of fire is Nevada's Oldest state park. way cool.

cheers, jerry
