Wow, you got it fast! Sure hate to hear that the green bowl didn't make it. If I could have done it over, I would have just sent it to you separately, because it was a great totem piece that I wanted you to have. It was a bowl within a bowl, I think it was a shrimp cocktail dish. It looked like a wide mushroom upside down. As you said Karen, it was padded well, so I wouldn't advise sending any large glass pieces. So glad the smaller ones made it okay! The rocks and everything were really padded, and the box was so full nothing would shift, so I can't help but wonder if some disgruntled postal worker just threw the thing down because it was so heavy! LOL ... awwwwww no one would do that would they? hehe (no offense Micki, we know you'd never go "postal" LOL) And the two copper-ish pieces that I kept ... the only reason I kept them was in order to fit that green glass bowl into the box! ..... errrr .... live and learn ;-) ... but I promise to use them! Just saw the pics of JT visiting Phoenix! She is having a great time! Loved the pics!!! Oh and the glass bluebird ... isn't is just beautiful!? I hated to bust up a set of two, but now one lives in Chattanooga and one in Phoenix! So glad you like it, and I appreciate the person who put them into the JT box, they ended up in two different loving homes! I'm so glad your're having fun the the Junk Train, Karen! We have two postings going on for SS gifts...I posted this already on the other post, but didn't want anyone to miss my great stuff..... I opened my Secret Santa box last night and what a HAUL!! My loot came from excess frou frou a.k.a. Syble and I couldn't believe the amount of GREAT STUFF she packed in one box!! I just kept opening and opening gifts....a junkyard cat statue complete with springy neck, a beautiful piece of driftwood, a metal sconce type candle holder, a wire basket, cardinal mini birdhouse, a ceramic birdhouse container, a BEAUTIFUL bottle bug, one of her handmade metal flowers, a dragonfly windchime, a lovely garden plaque, copper wire, bobbles, a little bird statue, and a GREAT koi statue too! Oh, and a little camper ornament...that won't blow away like our real one did! I can't even imagine how she got all of that in the box...and, as an extra bonus, I even got her taping gun!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU SYBLE!!! It was a blast opening everything and I LOVE them all!! There was so much stuff, I had to take two pictures to get it all.....YEEHA!!

Gee, I wonder how many pounds of batter, gallons of milk, pounds of butter and gallons of syrup we'd need for 400-600 pancakes? Ya know I was just thinking that I really don't have enough to do in the next five weeks and especially the day of the swap and was wondering what in the World I'm going to do with all that excess time on my hands. Maybe YOU would like to organize that for me! I REALLY do appreciate your interest in it and for bringing it up!!! Maybe you and I can discuss that at length in person on the 17th. Doug sayes that you are the QUEEEN of pancakes and would love to handle it for me. I heard that your moniker in Knox County is Mrs. Bec Butterworth and Aunt Jemima Holder. In the meantime... the park has a very nice restaurant that starts serving Breakfast at 7:00 am! There is also The Country Diner and Becky's Family Restaurant right up the road in Chapel Hill. Remember to tell them that you are with the MTPS and that in October Bec will be making pancakes for the MTPS and everyone in Maury & Marshall Counties at HHSP!
