Three Broods this season

I'm a first timer Bluebirder! Noticed bluebirds around February and decided to go get a nest box and mealworms. It didn't take long for a pair to start nesting. I feel so fortunate because we experienced three broods this year. The first brood we had three, the second, five and the last brood three. I had eleven successfully fledge but fear that only one survived from the last brood. The day after they fledged we had a terrible storm. We kept inticing the mom and dad bluebird with mealworms and they usually bring the babies back into our yard one week after they fledge, we noticed there was only one that they were feedinginstead of three. It has truly been a wonderful experience - watching the first brood siblings help the second brood and then one from the second brood helped with the third. Not seeing them all that much now but hoping they will grace us from time to time. I have plenty of mealworms now...and started a mealworm farm. The photo attached is the mom and the last baby from the third brood. HAPPY BLUEBIRDING!
