Thank you Cathy!! I wasnt sure as I know nestlings are fragile and so are the eggs when it is cold. It was really wierd here a few weeks ago, the highs only got into the upper 50s!!! And with me just getting this trail was not 100% sure of the fledglings ages and didnt want them to fledge early in all this nasty weather we have been having. I plan on doing a check sunday, clearing brush, measuring the poles for the baffles and new house mounts. There is an empty pole that I want to test a Roosting box out on. I will also put up a roosting box in my yard.

I hadn’t thought about Tootsie Rolls in years. I had to do a search to see if they still exist! I LOVED Tootsie Rolls when I was a kid. :) You’re funny. But honestly, the style on those leather sofas is really pretty decent. Definitely workable. And actually fairly nice. I agree that in this case less is more and simple is good. And not because there is anything wrong with the sofas - but I just think not only would it be easier to go simple, but it may also possibly give you a better look. Tailored and intentional. You could spend a fortune on a bunch of nice pillows and it could possibly just end up looking overdone. Plus, you have to somehow velcro some of the pillows to keep them in place, so that they don’t slip and slide off of the leather! Linen or silk would definitely go flying. Velvet would be the best for pillows... and velvet also looks beautiful with leather. If I did pillows, I would just do a few - maybe a couple of solid colored and a couple of vintage type patterned - all in velvet. Not a ton of pillows and no matchy thing going on. But even if they were well curated pillows - I still think that with the style of your sofas, plus the ottoman, and the overall room style - just tossing a throw could possibly give you the chicest look. Yes, the book cases are buildt- ins .. I currently have a bar on the left side of the fireplace that I would like to keep, as there is no where else in the house it seems to fit. The lower cupbards are refrig, glassware and liquor. The kitchen is in the adjacent room. If I took them down I still would want shelving for a few family photos .. how to do this without looking cluttered? would floating shelves look better? The daytime photos outside my windows are trees and lake, no neighbors.. but, eventually will get just not a necessity at this time. I just want to fix this wall as I think it looks very 1990’s countryish! .Do you think that all dark wood and fireplace painted to match light colored walls would be an improvement?
