crossbill suppertime

not many pine cones or pinyon nuts around for the birds this time of year but they are making due with a pan of boss

    Wow, how lucky you are to have them as a feeder visitor! I see plenty when I am out in my study areas in the ponderosa pine forest, but never see them in the valley where live. Cool!
