Put on a festive, colorfull shirt and go sit near your feeder. They will come have a look at you.

I've actually done just that Lisa! LOL It works and they will drink out of your hand if you can stay still enough. I swear I don't know where they are this year? Maybe I'm feeding phantom hummers? ;)

builder24car - males and females have shown up here in north Georgia. Females are now rarely seen at feeders, just the males. I have to believe the females are in nesting - it's usually quiet while they sit on eggs. Personally I never see a lot of hummers early summer but just wait until the babies fledge, then it's battles in the backyard. My great dane ducks when he walks around the area feeders are, seriously. It's a hoot. Poor Dane, he's so fragile.

Never tried the bright shirt trick, that's too funny. :)

Thanks laylaa! I guess now that I think about it, that does make sense. It does seem like hot weather is here before I see them a lot......
