Can't ID this this Wisconsin new bird

I FINALLY decided to keep track of all the birds that come to my feeder this spring - even though 99% are common and need not actually be listed I felt I needed to make a record

so far

Robin

Chipping Sparrow

Black cap Chickadee

Cow Bird

Grackle

Black Bird

Red Wing Black Bird

Downy Woodpecker

American Gold Finch

House Sparrow

Purple Finch

Ring Neck Pheasant - weird - taps on my basement window

Mallards

Blue Jay

Cardnial

Mourning Dove

Chickedee

Indigo Bunting?

I just had a new one minutes ago which I can not ID - I'm in Columbus Wisconsin. Sorry for the quality but I was about 30 yards away. If I HAD to guess I would say Black Throated Warbler but they do not come around here - larger then a sparrow!

No color besides white black and gray - any ideas?

That would make sense but there was no brown on either bird that I could see - that is why I was not thinking it was that one.

I think that grosbeak was injured. I found her this afternoon hanging around my [frozen] pond. I probably just about stepped on her when i was putting up the Christmas lights. :-/ Anyway, she couldn't seem to fly, though i thought i saw her flying yesterday. She was around for awhile, but i was busy (we were putting in a new kitchen window!), and later when i looked for her she was gone. I'm hoping that she got away somewhere and that the dog didn't get her.

Cathy, I'm in East Central MS...it's not the grosbeak. Checking again in my current Audubon book, the only bird that half way resembles it, is the yellow breasted chat..but I don't think that's it either. The bird I saw was much darker and more orange on the breast. The white stripe above the eye was longer. This is going to drive me crazy!

Hi. Thanks for responding. I've never seen a crow like that. That's pretty cool--but no, after I had a second look, I was relatively certain it wasn't a crow. Its tail was definitely not as round, though unfortunately, as time passes, the silhouette fades a bit from my memory. The white though, was a perfectly, clean, crisp band at the tip of it's tail. I didn't notice any other markings. I was walking down a path to a tennis court when I saw it. I stood staring at it, flying over head for a moment, and just when I was going to call to the other people in the class in the distance and say, "What is that?" they were all greeting me, and when I looked back up, it was gone, past the trees.

Thanks, but those lookups didn't match. I would like to have my camera quicker to grab next time - if there is a next time. I've never seen that kind of bird around here before. Parrot like. Orangish.

White crowned sparrows have been plentiful during migration this spring. We've had many reports here in MN and I had one in my yard the other day ... something I'd been hoping for the last 5+ years!

I am in Central WI and that is definately a White Crowned Sparrow, we have tons of them right now along with the White Throated Sparrow.
