I like the concept, and actually I don't think the price is too bad either, but you had to look all over the web page to find a button to find a price, kind of like the info commercials on TV

I bought one this year also, but have not had your good luck. What are you using for bait? Where do you place it, on the ground or up off the ground?

It can be challenging. The web site greif provided has lots of helpful customer comments.

I use white bread, broken up. Watch where they hang out, like at feeders, bushes, etc. It can take a while to draw their attention.
Lots of people in parks, outdoor restaurants, etc. toss pieces of bread to the "birdies" and that can get their attention, believe it or not. Leave some on the ground near the trap, and some inside. ALWAYS MONITOR ALL TRAPS at least hourly, so you can release any innocents. Remember not all sparrows are HOSP - KNOW THEM WELL. This is a big responsibility. DISARM or REMOVE unmonitored traps.

I set mine on a small table under the tree, put a seed feeder on top with the cheap feed in it. Baited the trap with the same seed and 2 days later caught one this morning, by noon had 3 and by evening I had 7.
I left two in with food and water as decoys and see what tomorrow brings.
The other birds go right to the other feeder and have not gone near the one on the picnic table

I started this a few years ago with this same trap and I love it! It took me 2 days to catch any and I caught about 11 the first day!!! My hosps will only eat boss. That's what they're used to. I have the best luck when I place it near the wild roses they hang around in.
