I don't remember what the settings were on the camera. I didn't want to miss the shot so I just hoped that the settings were the right ones and they worked out well enough. I shoot in manual so the settings were the same from the photos in the previous post. It would have been nice if they were a little crisper but I was shooting through the window. There's a birdbath out there but it has never been used as far as I know. When things fill in a bit more I'll move it around and see what happens. It's funny because when I first moved in (and started gardening) I was very particular, I only wanted a small flower garden of purple flowers. I was more interested in growing food. But I soon changed my ways and now I'm trying to cram as many flower varieties into this small space as possible. I blame this forum for getting me addicted.

Thank you! They are just what I need out front. I'm thinking of a couple of the sample collections from North Country. Planted with different colored Cone flowers and maybe some of the Walkers Low mint you had pics of earlier in the year. I'm sure I'll find some more stuff to toss in there when I get North Country's catalog. Already planted out front that are doing well is Siberian Iris Ceasar Brothers, Shasta Daisies and about 6 purple Liatris. I yanked out all the Asiatic Lilies so it is pretty bare right now. Now that I know what I want to do it is pretty hard not to just buy it and plant. But with winter approaching it is best to wait til next spring. Andrea

Here is how to post clickable thumbnails in your messages, if you ever want to try it.This is an excellent way to post several images without making it difficult for the dial-up users. If you are using Photobucket,here is how to do it. Say you want to post three thumbnails that people can click on to view the full size,like this: Please follow these steps: 1. Select the images you want to convert into clickable thumbnails by putting a check in the little blank white box just below each thumbnail;see the little box next to the image name (11feb04.jpg) in this example: 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find: "Generate HTML and IMG Code" - Click that. Magic will happen and a page will open with HTML codes. You want to use the first codes: "HTML click able thumbnails for Ebay, Livejournal, MySpace, etc. - recommended" Copy and Paste those codes into your message here, then use the Preview button to see if it is working properly. Hello! fellow hoosier-- Very nice pics, I too agree nice to see them roost as mine have done all summer. Cant imagine them not perching as some have mentioned.
