News and notes from SE WI

Well this is our first official bird watching spring. Things are off to a pretty good start. First the bad... the deer and raccoons are attacking our feeders at night. Some mornings it looks like a crime scene. We lost $20 worth of BOSS in one night. Hard to keep the grape jelly in the oriole feeder. Now the good... just this morning I've seen my first female grossbeak (very cool looking bird) and my first indigo bunting. He didn't stay long and there was no CF card in the camera. Had a few other lifers in the last week (almost everything is a lifer for us).

More later with pictures I hope!
