any suggestions?

In the windy rain we had Thursday, I lost my cherry tomato plant's cage. It not only collapsed, the rings came unwelded. I realize that I have an inferior cage here, but it was the only one I could find at the time.

I now have a gigantic cherry tomato sprawled all over. There's a poor benighted jalapeno pepper somewhere under there.

I was thinking that if I could get a couple of the reinforcing wire sheets, I could make a stacked cage for it. Do you suppose if I had a couple of large fellas wrestle it in an upward direction for me that I could corral it? Would it be too damaged to continue producing?

Are there any other suggestions?

My life won't be over if godzilla the cherry tomato plant turns up its toes, but I'd like to save it if I can. Actually, I guess I'm saving the rest of the garden FROM it, since it seems quite happy as it is. :)
