I like it in both forms as well! You are a bit warmer in Portland than I am (foothills of the cascades outside of Tacoma WA), but you still have similar climate. Some of my daylilies change so drastically from one day to the next depending on the weather it is just crazy. It does make sure that a walk in the garden at night is never boring though. Julie

Thanks, everyone. I'm excited to see how Quiller will improve. The coloring does remind me of Time Lord, too. Debra, Impressionistic has been here quite a few years, and the extreme shade has happened only recently. It's such a pretty flower when it opens well, but with limited space I'm not sure a pretty face is enough. Mantis, Dan Hansen assured me his plants had been tested in my climate, so I took a chance and ordered four last year. I wanted several of his edge-no eye daylilies. This is the first bloom so far. Katie, more Hansons will be on the way, I'm sure!

Twix, I'm so happy you got CW. I hope you'll be as thrilled as I am. The colors in the daylily change from day to day and morning to afternoon. Be sure to post pics. Debra and Katie, I'll be sure to post more pics of Painted Desert. It isn't the best shot to have posted, but it didn't bloom last year and you know how excited you get when a newbie blooms. American Doll is in part shade, so perhaps that explains her edge. I really wasn't expecting her to make it through our winter, but she seems to have settled in fine.

I love Curt Hanson's cultivars, I grow Swallow Tail Kite. I have to add Mask and Metaphor to my wish list, I see why you love it, it is gorgeous! Carnival in Brazil grows here and another of my favorites, just love the colors in it. What a FANTASTIC butterfly pic and Bowie looks like he has really enjoyed his summer. I adopted a new kitty today, my daughter's friend brought him this morning. Kind of wild since it is one of the kittens of stray cat in their neighborhood. It has been living under their porch. He is about two months old, we named him GANGSTA...LOL LOVE all your pics Cindy! Nancy
