I like it in both forms as well! You are a bit warmer in Portland than I am (foothills of the cascades outside of Tacoma WA), but you still have similar climate. Some of my daylilies change so drastically from one day to the next depending on the weather it is just crazy. It does make sure that a walk in the garden at night is never boring though. Julie

I only have Court Magician and Swirling Water from the list. Here's a pic of Swirling Water taken in the afternoon I guess our climates are similar, somewhat, so maybe the flowers will look the same. Also, Court Magician rarely opens all the way here, and Swirling Water has the lowest bud count Swirling Water - morning pic Court Magician on a sunny morning Court Magician - cloudy morning

Thanks, everyone. The cooler nights have been great, except for getting those daylilies to open in early morning. As the World Turns is listed as an EM, but has always been one of the last daylilies to bloom here. It was planted in 2009, so I think it's had plenty of time to settle in and is just going to bloom on its own time here.

Nice photos and choices! I usually go for the pinks and purples but Civility caught my eye today, love the white with the yellow edge. I have Notify Ground Crew but I haven't been vey nice to it I've had it for one full season and already moved it. It did get tall but not up to standards yet. Sherry
