I have used the Miracle Grow type feeders and have concluded they are all junk. Most leak horribly at the seal and to the extent they don't they seem to apply extra heavy at the outset and much weaker toward the end. There is inline fertigation equipment available, but not for $5. Having said all the above, if the Miracle Grow worked out for you, it shouldn't be any different with the FP. I can't see any reason why one being a concentrated liquid and the other a concentrated powder would matter much. It all boils down to how well the product mixes into a proper dilution. Now I have to ask an ignorant question. Does MG market their product for watering containers or small areas? I always thought they were for sprinklers and such where it didn't matter if the dilution was too high at the beginning and too low at the end as the entire amount was applied to the same area.

Dips are difficult. I almost always have to cross a ditch, so you have high sides and a deep trench in the middle. What ends up happening is the stakes in the fence never work out to plant one in the top of one of the ditch banks, so the fence folds down on the humps, but as long as it doesn't tough the ground it is OK (I scalp the grass on the humps). Other than the ditch itself, the sides are sloping enough that there is never more than a couple inches of gap to the ground, so I just leave the grass a little higher so it "looks" like there is really no gap. For the ditch, throwing an old fence post or board across the ditch in front of the fence does the trick sometimes I stick a few branches in the ditch also if there is no water flowing, and I've done the same where I ended up with more than a couple inches of gap on the sides--sometimes it took a 6 or 8 foot board to cross the gap. The post doesn't block the hole, it just forms an impediment that the sheep don't like to go under to get through. With pigs that are used to rooting, it might be different, though. You could take some dry wooden stakes or other non-conducting material to hold the electric wire up on the humps or notch it to hold the wire down in the dips, though.

Hi. I was hoping someone would have shared some limestone backsplashes by now because all I have is a limestone bathroom (limestone cave). It's A LOT of limestone. It's my daughter's bathroom but the tile installer designed/pressured me into it when I was having a I-can't-pick-tile meltdown.... It's in tumbled limestone in the lighter/creamy shade: The lighting is terrible in every shot I have.....it's making the grout look gray but it's actually alabaster in person. Hope this helps!

Thanks for all the information, I will take a look at it today and see if there is that mesh pot inside. I appreciate the info because I don't normally repot right away after I buy a new plant. Good to know, if it dies then I would be suspicious something was wrong with it (I won't blame myself). I have several other snake plants that are all doing great so I would assume the care for this one would be the same. Not that I am an expert or anything but I did save two bantel plants from Walmart that were badly overwatered. These plants actually had standing water in the pots I had to pour out. I was not sure if they would make it but so far so good. I bought it at IKEA so I didn't pay a lot of money for it so we will see how it goes.
