sub arctic plenty -- slow to ripen

I'm growing sub arctic plenty, purple prince, and sweet millions -- I may find a world vision plant somewhere. I really like the sub arctic plenty as a plant -- up early, sturdy, good fruit set. However, I'm starting to pick sweet millions and purple prince, both 75 day vs 50 day varieties. In addition the tomatoes on the sub arctics aren't much bigger than the sweet millions. Is this normal or just an example of the weird world of tomatoes.

My tomatoes have been doing relatively well compared to some posters and I have been reluctant to mention it. The other day I remembered why. It's the August long weekend and in the past that has ushered in cool rainy weather and my tomatoes have basically shut down. Fortunately, I've had good luck with green tomatoes ripening indoors. Also, this year I have some tomatoes in pots that I can move into a greenhouse.
