Add me to the list!

Of people with tragic problems this nesting season. Just a few people actually have some fledging.

Today I confirmed the death of 5, 6 day old nestlings. The parents were doing a poor job yesterday evening and then it got cold over night causing the nestlings to starve during the day. I did report disappearance of waxworms.

Back to square one! I removed them and my sparrow spooker. Mr and MS. are still around.

Question: to those who have lost nestlings...how long did it take for egg laying to start again? The thought of losing 3 - 4 weeks of the season is what's killing me! It's May!...it should NOT be in the 50's for daytime highs! How awful!
