Thanks Debra.I will try that.I have been to a lot of places looking for help all day, since noon and havegot no where.It has me pulzzled as whats the problem.I have never had a memorycard fill up so fast before either.I have always used a 2gb card, but the lady at wal mart put a 8MG in the camera. said they don't carry the 2 or the 4MG no moreshe had put a 8mg in it when I bought it, so figured it be ok.I always bought a new card each year, & each years blooms be together on one. card.Looks like this card will not be used if I cant find out whats wrong.I was leary about getting a Nikon camera anyway,as my thers were cannon and Kodak. never a problem with them. Thank you all. Yes, the other Camera was a Canon and it gave me good service, so we got another one. I'm looking forward to using it in the morning. He said he knew when I came inside with the camera making crazy noises that we would be getting a new one today. He is really good to support my hobbies. kay

We just had a security company give an estimate yesterday. More problems in the neighborhood lately, moreso at the other end of our street near the woods and apartments. But more car break-ins (ours are always locked and empty) and potential people casing the neighborhood. The truck was parked outside our house between calls and I got him to come in. However, if we did a security camera in the back of the house, here are some of the issues the rep talked with us about. If you want to record 24/7 you need to have a strong enough internet connection. You also need to have the ability to have a video recorder attached to it; hence, the internet connection. You also need a place to install. If you don't want to record 24/7 then there are lesser requirements, but if we want to monitor the back of the house, it makes almost no sense not to record 24/7. Our street is busy enough someone would have to be nuts to come in through the front, but the back would be pretty easy.
