Egg Identity

You all are always so helpful with bluebird questions for me, I'm taking the liberty of asking about another bird. Had someone doing some pruning and cutting back of abelia shrubs today, and right in the middle of the shrub is a nest with 3 eggs - very, very light blue with brownish speckles. I have a variety of birds in my gardens, including a lot of house finches. I am thinking these are house finch. Do you think the bird will come back and complete the incubation of these eggs. Normally, I think house finches have more than 3 at a time, so she may not be through laying. Before we saw the nest, one side of the shrub was cut back enough that the nest is exposed slightly. We didn't cut any more around it. What do you think? I hope I haven't messed up some sweet mamma bird's plans for a family!
