Black Krim/Roma tomato?

Hi all. I've been lurking here for a bit-thought I'd join.

Just started harvesting tomatos this past week-noticed I have alot of Black Krim-seems to have been the hardiest of my seedlings. Anyway, that's not the point:)

I grew a Roma tomato from some left over seed from years past and they are ripening quickly but they are not red at all but identical to BK-a browny brick red with green shoulders but still oblongish in shape, like a Roma. Additionally, they have the flavour and texture of BK. Pretty cool, eh?

I read about cross-pollination on this forum so I'm imagining that's what happened-I have alot of bees.

Anyway, this has never happened to me in all the years I've grown tomatos.

Still waiting for Neves Azorean red to ripen up-also found out about that tomato on this fab. forum.

Anyway, I'm not a particularly huge Roma tomato fan-just grew it to get rid of the seed so this BK roma is a nice, flavourful surprise!
