Has anyone here rescued a plant from blight? How?

Hello all,

I have a Green Zebra tomato plant that is 50% gone - late blight the culprit. I removed all of the brown totally dead leaves and I began a spraying program with Seranade Garden at double strength every 7 days and added 1 cup of BioTone Starter Plus to the root area. The plant is in an EarthBox. The stems are still green but 50% or more of the leaves were brown, dry and dead, dead, dead! The plant was pretty much dead except for the top 18 inches as I had removed all of the other leaves and tomato fruit. Today while inspecting the garden I noticed the plant has several new tomato fruits about the size of marbles and the leaves look healthy. Not saying the plant will survive but wondered if anyone has rescued a tomato which was 50% or more damaged by blight.

Please post your info. Thanks :-))
