'Side affects' or what to do about my red neck

Yesterday, for breakfast, I ate fried green zebra tomatoes with poached eggs. Lunch was thick slices of radiator reds on sour dough with double smoked bacon. The aperitif, vodka and tomato water went down exceedingly well. Dinner was a bowl of "garden" Gazpacho followed by a little grilled lamb and a tomato salad that was totally orgasmic.

However, once in bed, around 2.00am in the morning, I awoke to the most brutal pain in my throat. It felt like someone was slashing my esophagus.

I obviously experienced a bout of acid reflux and it scared the hell out of me.

So my query is, for the past month my life has been devoted to finding the most unique methods of consuming my bountiful crop of toms. Was my episode of gut ranching pain due my constant diet of the fruits of my labour?

And if so, does anyone have any remedies to bid farewell to this possible cause of my discomfort that they might like to share?
