Nice...looks like your'e also using a fruit bag.

i save most of the mesh bags i get. the nyger or thistle bags work great for sunflower chips or fine chopped nuts.
the bags some oranges or lemons come in often do great for boss and some of the bigger mesh good for the striped sunflower seeds or the spanish peanuts. one i got does good for cracked corn. most any of the hangng birds like the bags. a few of the starlings or blackbirds do learn to use the bags but don't have the patience to empty them like they do some of the other feeders.

Love Nuthatches, but only one has every visited my feeders and he or she does it very infrequently. I think they don't like the crowd of birds.

Mesh birds are a great idea, but unlike you, dklucius, the large population of tree squirrel will make short works of the bags.

I had a starling get it's tongue caught in an onion bag I'd reused for suet. Not my most favorite bird, but I don't like to see any creature suffer. The nylon mesh had wrapped 3 or 4 times around his tongue, his beak was wide open, with streaks of blood along the side.
I cuddled him in an old towel, and had to use nail scissors to gently detach the nylon strands from his tongue.
I only use nyjer seed bags, or proper suet cages since that incident.
