tomatoes and rose fertilizer

amoc

Hello everyone,

About a month ago my tomatoes were due for some feeeding and I did not have anything on hand... except a forgotten bag of organic rose fertilizer, Rose Tone... So, I said it would be better than nothing, and I gave it to them. My tomato plants just grew like CRAZY! they got big and bushy and with a lot of leaves. They also bloomed intensively. Now, I cannot easily count the tomatoes on them (I can barely see anything through the leaves) but it does seem like a typical production, no better ... Typically my tomato plants had rather sparse foliage and you could see the fruits and they were exposed to sun light. I was using Neptune's harvest fish fertilizer in previous years.

So, did I ruin my tomatoes or should I have been doing this all along?

Below id the rose tone analysis from espoma.

Thanks anyone who replies!
