Hi Paul, it is in the zone box. I just typed 8 then my county but years ago I had my city displayed. Same way, zone then city

specifically, they mean the "zone box" that you fill in each and every time you "post a follow-up" or "post a thread" - this has nothing to do with your profile info

it feeds your user name only & you fill in your zone - most people add add'l info (city, county, region like pineywoods) b/c the zones stretch across the continent - i use d/fw b/c my town is small, but there are four counties' worth of people in my general area

Ahhh, I don't have to fill in the zone every time I post a followup - it pulls that from the profile, and is already displayed in the zone field of "post a followup" area as long as you are logged in. But the zone field is large enough to put more than just your zone, so as Jolana says, in your profile, where it says garden zone, put your zone number and whatever else you want (city, county, etc) within the length limits of the field.

I just added my county by going to my member page, adding the co. in the garden zone box and then saving it
