Pineapple tomato - foliage looks weird

My sister and I each bought a pineapple tomato plant from an heirloom tomato plant sale on 5/29. The plants do not seem to be thriving. I thought maybe it was just my plant, but I was visiting my sister (she lives 38 miles away) and her plant looks the same. I also bought an Aunt Ruby's German Green plant at the same place and my sister bought an Anna Russian, both of which are doing just fine (as are the plants I grew from seed). Can anyone give me an idea of the problem? I think it is strange that both my plant and my sister's plant are exhibiting the same thing even though we live so far apart. The bottom leaves look OK, the top leaves look shriveled, but not brown. They have looked like this for at least 2 weeks.

Here is a shot with the Aunt Ruby's that was the same size when purchased and was planted at the same time, you can see that the pineapple tomato seems stunted:

Thanks,

Tina
