I discovered several unusual plants growing in the woods near a watershed in northern virginia in a small area (10' x 3'). Each plant is approx 30-33"h on a strong stalk with a leopard print pattern (in hues of dark & lighter greens). Each plant has only one leaf at the very top approx 18"w x 14"l. The leaf has approx 11 elongated nodes (at first glance they appear to be separate leaves, but are actually just part of one). It is very tropical looking. I have pics if it would help...
