Saving Seed From Plants Hit By Blight

It seems many, many people are having problems with blight this season, either early or late. I'm still getting baby tomatoes, thus far, and want to save some seeds. My concern with saving seed is that the plants are blighted, though still producing.

How will having blight affect the seeds? If I ferment the seeds, will they still have blight, or does it not work that way? Do the seeds automatically carry the disease of the plant? If I soak the seeds in neem oil, or some other organic fungicide, would that help?
