Jem, no problem! I'm just going on what I was told by other GW members. Was told its 'Genera' is Vuylstekeara, 'Grex' is Cambria and its 'Clone' is unknown. Your V.C.'Plush' being a particular Clone of Vuyl Cambria...and a nice one too! Have done some more image searching and have also found this site linked below and at least another couple all giving the same name(although the clone eludes me at present). Cambrias are hybrids from 3 other types of orchids and according to what I've read can differ greatly. This name business sure is tricky! Suppose without being absolutely certain of a plants parentage etc we can only summise at what we have got. Guess I shouldn't feel the neeed to label all my plants with names and dates...but I do! Oh, btw, I'm not so sure that other site is in Spanish either...more like Italian...and I don't do that either! (but have translated it thanks to another site) Gill. Either pennisetum orientale or aleu.....either way, wait till late fall, early winter to collect seeds. Store them in a open bag, not ziploc, and plant in early April.

It may be purslane, it may not. It would be wise to be sure before eating any. Break a stem or two and see if there is a milky, white sap. The stem is wiry, not thick, and it gives off a white, milky sap when you break it. Maybe try benjamin Moore Balboa Mist. Very light grey. I did my kitchen and baths with it after much research and love it. Lots of pics on houzz of rms painted with it.
