What is eating my tomatoes plants, leaves, stem and all. It's happening at night. They chew through the stem, drop the plant and have been eating stem, leaves, vine, and some fruit if any is there. On one occasion they climbed the stock and ate a big ripe tomato, but only after chewing the stock 3/4" in diameter in half, which of coarse kills all the produce. I'm at a complete loss. Last night it got 5 of my plants. stem, vine, leaves all gone. All that is left is a stock with teeth marks where it was chewed off. What time of night do they come??? I have never seen a Deer in town.
