Hi, I spot treated some weeds in a bed I cleared for wildflowers. (I have already sown the seeds there) Well I thought I had prepared the bed well and pulled out all the weeds, but along with the seedlings comes some roots., quite a few. I tried pulling out a few and had to use those long hede clippers. They were BAD roots. Thick and vigorous. I posted asking for advice for spot treating these weeds but did not get a reply and since I was so anxious to get rid of those weeds I just went ahead and sprayed ace hardware's weed killer. I was very careful though, spraying only enough to cover the weed. I hope it will not kill my seedlings. Here are some photos.
