Identify An Animal Track?

Can anyone tell me what this animal track is? One person said it looked like a BIG jackrabbit running. It was found in my friend's yard in McClester, OK -- south central Oklahoma. Please email me at wezey726@gmail.com if you can help. I have a couple more pictures but this was the best one. URL below.

It looks like rabbit tracks to me but I don't know what kind of rabbit. You can change the search word on the bottom link to jackrabbit, swamp rabbit or cottontail and look at images of those. They are thumbnails you can enlarge.

This link has information about Jackrabbits in Arkansas. Sounds like they no longer exist there.

This is a bit of a late post, but what the heck. About raccoons..... One Thanksgiving we had the gang at our house. My dad, at the early stages of Alzheimer's decided to make his specialty...pumpkin pecan pie. Unfortunately he forgot to add sugar and I don't think he cooked the crust or something. Whatever it was it was sort of funny. Not telling him what he'd done we just ate the other desserts and told him we'd be glad to keep his. We put it outside, disposable tin and all, and the next morning everything was gone! We laughed. Next spring out by our back gardening shed, I spied something shiny and silver. It was the pie plate, pushed out of the raccoon's "house!" We laughed some more!!

I love my spiny lizards! Just today I watched one out on the patio. He'd scamper a foot, and stop. Look at me and do a few push ups--then scamper another foot, stop. Look at me and do a few push ups. It was funny! Why do they do those push ups? It looks like they're breathing hard when they do them too. Hello again, hello. I sent the photo to an animal tracker that I met up with on the internet last year and he agrees that it is a rabbit. If you look at the last photo (not my pictures, but from a tracking website) you can actually see the 4 little paws together. My photos were taken after the snow was a little melted so they aren't as clear. But it's definitely a bunny. Anita

Some sort of rabbit - the combination of long paw print with small print aren't made by any other animals.

It's too badly melted out to say how big the rabbit was, or even whether it was cottontail or jackrabbit.

I apologize for not reading your original post very well. I assumed the tracks were found in Arkansas instead of Oklahoma. This link has distribution maps for different types of rabbits/jackrabbits in the US.
