burdock and poison hemlock: flamer OK?

Anyone with experience using a butane flamer to eradicate the poison hemlock and burdock invasion of my area? Have you had to 'flame' the weeds every week for a month? all summer?

Desire to raise sheep in pasture that has border of these weeds. Hemlock toxic to sheep in small quantities dried or green.

May try roundup and/or the homemade vinegar plus mix. Too many to drown with boiling water. Would appreciate your suggestions.

Depending on how small or large the area is, if you can you might want to buy some sort of landscape fabric or something that would smother them/burn them up. I used black fabric to control the weeds in my garden, you just have to make sure to keep it there for the season.

This 'infestation' is about one acre with all three areas combined. I must see the weed fall and lose potency before flowering. Roots defy the max strength and time. First experience with be with cider vinegar/homemade potion.
