My tomato plant has it's own little white hairs on the stems. If your leaves are curling and there's actual webbing on leaves, you might have spider mites? I recently lost a plant to spider mites. The whole plant became one giant spider web before I realized there was a problem. It bloomed up nicely and looked healthy and bam one day just a cobweb.

Ignoring the question of why anyone would even plant 4 plants in the same hole in the first place, you claim that overcrowded plants, even pruned to a single stem overcrowded plants, will do better, produce more, than normally spaced plants, pruned or unpruned? That defies logic and common sense! It totally disregards what is common knowledge about how plants grow, what they need in terms of nutrients, water, air circulation, soil O2, root development, sun exposure, etc. You going to find a way to quadruple all those things in that single whole too? murullo, everyone is teasing you. those little green things you are seeing on your tomato plants are tiny tomatoes. leave them alone & they will get bigger & red for you. the yellow blooms turn into tiny little green balls & then into big red tomatoes. don't take them off till they turn red, or you will never have good red tomatoes. nothing is wrong with your plants, you just need to be patient & let the plants do their job. o.k?

Tends to happen when the temps are cool at the time of pollination. Not a disease, and nothing you did. I remove most of my "ugly" catfaced/fused toms when young so the plant can put its energy into producing new fruit or focus its energy on the fruits that aren't jacked up looking.
