Is this good fertilizing?

I'm transplanting a bunch of my 'maters in some not very fertile sandy loam. The soil would ideally have higher levels of all the major nutrients for a vegetable garden, it's not very poor soil but nutrient levels are somewhat below what the soil testing labs will say is 'adequate'. So on this soil I decided to use synthetic fertilizers. I prepared a mix of superphosphate, potassium sulphate, bonemeal and urea, leading to a mixture of approximately 7-25-20. I'm applying this to the soil at the time of transplanting along with a cup of alfalfa pellets. About half of it is at the bottom of the transplanting hole while the other half is mixed in the dirt around the plant, the holes are about 6 inches deep and wide on average. I've been applying around 9 grams of the synth fert mix to each hole along with the pellets.

Does this sound like good fertilizing to you guys? Any suggestions?
