Chinese Wisteria Didn't bloom

Hey everyone,

This is the second year I have had these two Chinese Wisteria Plants and I'm wondering why they didn't bloom this year and what I can do different next year to ensure blooms.

Last year when I bought them they had several blooms and this year I bought three more to decorate another part of my yard and all three are full of blooms.

Last year was rather hot and dry if that affected them. Also I've heard different things for caring with Wisteria. Some websites say to don't do anything with them but cut them back each year and train them to climb. It says don't water unless it's been a really dry time because if you over water then they never learn to seek their own water.

I've heard you should feed them and I've heard you should.

*sigh*

I really dream of having my entire arbor one day covered in beautiful flowers. Can someone help me?
